About Me

It has been my joy to have had the opportunity to work alongside thousands of parents & their families over the last 30+ years as an educator, counselor, parent coach and speaker. In January 2023, I was offered my own global TV show dedicated to parenting, Parenting GPS: Navigating Your Parenting Journey. My experiences in working with families over three decades in the areas of relationships, self-esteem, behaviors, learning, & day-to-day parenting topics has provided me with a wide-range of parenting 'tools' in which to help parents create a step-by-step plan to reach their parenting goals.

Ideal Client

I work with parents who value the role of being a parent and are willing to be coached and implement suggestions made. I always begin with 'baby steps' and do not offer multiple strategies at one time that may feel overwhelming. It is important that I am able to learn what the parent's goals are regarding their family relationships, children's behavior & success in learning, no matter what the challenges may be. It is helpful to me as a parent coach that the adults I'm working with realize that making changes in parenting behavior may not happen overnight and that it is a continuous process.
